FLA4 is the world’s first “intelligent fireplace” with patented BEV (Burning Ethanol Vapours) Technology created by Planika engineers. This long, line fireplace insert comes with all state-of-the-art solutions like temperature, seismic and tilting sensors, wireless control and an automatic refueling system. FLA4 is also available as FLA4+ – it provides same technological solutions with even more capacious tank. This fireplace can be easily customized to meet all individual needs of Planika clients.

LUXURY FIREPLACE

FLA4 with BEV (Burning Ethanol Vapours) Technology is a zero-clearance fireplace that can be quickly installed in built-ins made of various materials, even flammable ones such as wood. This makes it possible to create a variety of real fire arrangements without design restrictions.
AUTOMATIC REFILLING SYSTEM
Planika was the first to introduce the automatic refilling system
for bioethanol fireplaces. It will protect the user and the fireplace against any accidental spillage or overfilling. The pump will
switch off automatically when the fuel tank is full.
FLA4 NET-ZERO APP
FLA4/4+ fireplace can be operated with a smartphone or any other mobile device. Custom-made applications will allow you to:

The problem of air pollution is particularly important to us.
To improve the air quality we developed advanced technologies for efficient performance and clean combustion. Our fireplaces are fueled with renewable energy sources – bioethanol and natural gas –
to prevent the creation of smoke, soot, ash or hazardous gasses. Planika’s solutions are also compatible with buildings with
heat recovery ventilation (HRV). Our fireplaces protect

TEMPERATURE SENSORS
Multiple temperature sensors are placed on crucial parts of the fireplace. They’re sensitive up to 0,1 of centigrade and reacts immediately upon any deviation from given thresholds.
FUEL LEVEL SENSOR
The fireplace was equipped with an infrared CO2 sensor.
It monitors the air quality and reduces the flame
height/switch off the fireplace upon any alert.
SEISMIC SENSORS
To meet the demands of our customers who live in areas of increased seismic activity, we’ve introduced a dedicated seismic sensor that will shut off the device if it detects vibrations.
It will also react if the device is hit.
SPILLAGE SENSOR
Since we’re dealing with bioethanol, it’s always good to have a system of moisture detection on board. Deliberately tilted bottom of the device will ensure, that any hypothetical drop
of fuel will fall right on the sensor.
ROBUST CONSTRUCTION
FUEL RETRIEVAL SYSTEM
A thick-walled, stainless steel fuel tank works as a spine of the fireplace. It was tested for sturdiness against mechanical, chemical and heat factors. The same material was used for
a top plate, that protects the fireplace interior.
FLA4 fireplace is equipped with a system, that redirects unused fuel from the system back to the stainless steel fuel tank,
once the device is not in use. It’s the same when the
fireplace detects any unusual situation.
